EXPLORING IRELAND for Teachers of English as a Foreign Language: opportunity to discover Irish culture and society

Different speakers and a range of areas of study, including literature and the visual and performing arts

An investigative approach to develop language skills and key competences

Variety of excursions: countryside, city life and the cultural heritage of Ireland
  The Cliffs of Moher and the Burren, a unique geological landscape.  
  On route to Galway city, Coole Park, influential landmark in the poetry of W.B. Yeats, Nobel Prize Winner for Literature.  
  Excellent accommodation facilities in apartments with en-suite individual rooms by the River Shannon.  
  Setting for development of future partnerships in European projects.  
  The boat trip on the River Shannon, a nice way to end the programme.
